Since 2015, Proving Grounds Racing has had a long journey in the racing circuits. Starting with the 4570 modified machine, competing in Ultra4, Best in the Desert, and More/Snore races, they have climbed the ladder of success. With multiple podium positions in Ultra4 and back to back 4th place position in the National Point Championships in 2018 and 2019, John Grounds has carved a path for success for the team. While John Grounds and John Snell took the 2017 Ultra4 series together in the 4570, the duo also set out to build a new 4600 stock class Ultra4 race car to compete in. The 4671 became a reality, making it's maiden voyage at 2018 King of the Hammers. Since then, Snell in the 4671 has taken home 3rd in the Western Series two seasons in a row and 3rd place in the National Series for 2018. Fresh out the box in 2021 the team enters into the 4400 class with a brand new ground up Miller Motorsports build, The 4415. Taking home a Northern series 3rd place, and an Eastern series 2nd place in regionals, This new build showed its worth fresh out the box! 2022 were off to BIG things, KOH was a success for us with Joe Gatlin taking 2nd place in 4570 and John Grounds in 20th for the 4400 Unlimited class! Success lingers in the team, and this is just the beginning
